VLCC Celebrates ‘Power of Change’

So today’s post is about the grand event organized by VLCC where I was cordially invited as a fashion blogger by the team. This amazing event took place in Hyatt Regency, Kolkata, on 16th May, 2016. Leading beauty and wellness brand VLCC hosted a unique and enigmatic evening, VLCC Power of Change 2016, to celebrate successful and inspiring stories of weight loss and overall transformation of its clients. We had witnessed an amazing ramp show by the various customers of VLCC to showcase successful stories of transformation.

The event was judged by renowned personalities from the fashion, film and art fraternity that included Ms Usha Uthup, noted Singer, Ms Agnimitra Paul, Fashion Designer, Ms Gargi Roy Chowdhury, Actor, Ms Priti Patel, noted Manipuri Dancer, Mr. Hiran Chatterjee, Actor and Dr. Ronen Roy, renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon.


The event saw 47 participants, both women and men, from Kolkata, Patna and Guhawati, who shared their journey to wellness, including weight loss, grooming and better health. Seeking to spark self-transformation, spread happiness and imbibe every individual with wellness for life, the participants epitomized the VLCC Group motto, ‘Shaping your Confidence’.

The VLCC Ambassador for East Zone for the Power of Change 2016 was won by Ms Srijani Banerjee from Kolkata. The first runner up award went to Ms Paramita Dey and the second runner up was Ms Dipanwita Biswas. The Best Transformed award was shared by Ms Rabiya Husain from Patna, who lost 30 kgs with VLCC and Mr Prosenjit Mondal from Kolkata who lost 52 kgs. Ms Shima Roy won the award for the Best Skin while Ms Ekta Ghosh was awarded in the Best Hair category. Here are the pictures for the reference.


The prestigious event came to an end with a delicious dinner and we were gifted a bag full of amazing skincare and beauty products exclusively from VLCC. So the products I had received were:

I had kept a simple yet attractive OOTN for the night. Apt for any night outing, my golden dress from Style by AND never lets me down. I had paired it up with a chunky boho neck piece and a handbag from Lavie.
